AEFI, established in Rome on 14 March 1983, is a private non-profit association that represents the interests of the Italian exhibitions industry and supports its members with activities and programmes to strengthen the competitiveness and prestige of the sectors represented.
AEFI currently include 50 associate members: 42 venues hosting over 1000 events a year on exhibition grounds amounting to 4.2 million sq.m. Nearly 95% of international exhibition that take place each year in Italy are held in AEFI member venues; the organizers of exhibitions are also members of the association.
CFI is the Association of Trade Show Organizers operating in the field of the Italian trade fair industry, as identified by the Ateco codes assigned by Confindustria to their organizational and representative competence.
